Nicole Reed, PsyD

Post-Doctoral Resident

Dr. Reed received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Alliant International University, Los Angeles. She is currently a post-doctoral resident, and is supervised by Megan Barone, PsyD.

Dr. Reed has worked in multiple community mental health settings, as well as an addiction treatment center. She has a passion for working with adolescents and adults who experience complex trauma/trauma, substance use and addiction, codependency issues, grief/loss, relationship challenges, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.

Dr. Reed’s approach to therapy is integrative, blending primarily Psychodynamic techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She believes that our view of the world impacts current thoughts and behaviors, and is also deeply influenced by early experiences. Dr. Reed also treats clients from a holistic lens by focusing on the powerful connection between the mind and body.

Dr. Reed believes healing is achieved through relationships. In her work with clients, she brings intuition, a sense of humor, empathy, attunement, challenge, and curiosity. Her goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions.
