Virginia Therapy & Wellness is looking for a licensed clinician to join our growing group practice! Candidates applying to the position must hold a degree in clinical psychology, clinical mental health counseling, clinical social work, or a related degree, and must have at least two years experience providing individual therapy with adolescents, young adults and/or adults.

Qualifications:

  • PsyD, PhD, LPC, LCSW

Treatment Modalities: individual therapy, couple’s therapy, optional group therapy

Population: adolescents, young adults and adults

Setting: private practice (in-office and/or virtual). Office location: 4023 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 7 Fairfax, VA 22030

Training and Services Provided: consultation group, professional development opportunities, didactic seminars, and all necessary operating resources (office space, virtual therapy platform, Electronic Health Records System, Psychology Today profile).

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete intake and diagnostic evaluations
  • Provide individual therapy (and group therapy if interested)
  • Develop treatment plans, and collaborate treatment goals with clients
  • Complete progress notes
  • Complete termination notes
  • Collaborate with other medical providers, schools, and family as necessary
  • Prompt communication with Group Administrator, colleagues and clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management skills, record keeping, and organizational skills
  • Potential supervision of intern or postdoc

Job Types: W-2; Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: 60/40 split
